pistyll point n.wales
sick of the mess on the mark's on the island me and deg's decided time to venture down the llyn a lot more. so yesterday was the first trip of many.
so after work me and deg's set of with fresh peeler sandeel maccie and squid. headed down past trefor and thought let's go a bit further to pistyll
got down the mark and you guessed it absoulutley stinking had a bit of a clean up and started fishing next to two local lad's who were fishing for spider crab's down the dock wall with a net. to be honest i couldnt believe it they had bacon in a pot to attract them and you could see them walking along the sea bed into it.
anyhow the fishing went like this first on with the feather's for launce that you could clearly see in the water. after about an hour we had enough for bait so then had a go for mackie and got enough bait so we started on the bottom.
straight away in full sun shine doggie's one after the other two at a time this went on for about two hour's so the camera went back in the bag as i hate the thing's.
as darkness fell the doggie's stopped for a while then i had a couple of whiting and a rockling. then deg's has a rockling and thing's looked like they were going to get better.
then deg's get's a little bite and strike's and starts to bring a fish a bit heavier and landed this.
well at this we thought it cant get no worse or can it. then the dog's start again both rod's all hook's again two three four at a time.
then good double's of crab and dog's together.
by now we have had about 40+ dog's and 20+ crab's. and the thought's were time for home then i had another doggie bite but resulting in a better doggie the greater.
weighing in at just over 10lb. ten minute's later deg's is in to a smaller one which joe drop's getting out the water. after this the little dog's came back on the feed so we packed up and left for home never wanting to see a dogggie again.
we were told it was doggie heaven so next time we'll listen.
