raven's n.wales
Just got back from hol's so decided with 4 day's to go back to work we need a trip out. looked at weather and tide's and thought yesterday was best weather but worst tide so anyhow it go's like this.
headed down the island to meet up with glynne (swelly). got bait then headed of to raven's. a bit of a swell on and a nice little head wind we decided to chance high water down to low.
straight of it was a bit slow and first fish a dreaded dog. and the thought's just dog's. first few hour's very slow with the odd ballan, corkwing and small pollock.
then it was up and down all day. glynne get's the best ballan of the day.
and i get the small fish a couple of dab's.
followed by the only maccie of the day to glynne.
then it went quiet again until golden ball's come's up with these two. just pull's in and hey presto no bite's at all.
a red gurnard.
then a turbot.
then low water comes and our final fish to glynne.
at this it was of for a nice sit down tea at valley chippy with a brew and of to cemlyn. for a nice sit down and natter.
no fish here but a nice little wind down before heading down to llandadrig. for darkness. at this we bid farewell to glynne and yet again his great company.
decide to go on the mark's facing wylfa very comfortable and deep but only dog's. i decided to have a little nap and thus went to sleep. only for deg's to spoil it telling me i had a bite and i reeled in the last of the night.
and at 01.30 we wrapped it up and left for home.
epilog.
very slow day but most enjoying and a tad sore today from my sun burn.
