Had a call of simon and neil last week saying they wanted to go to the range's. so organized it for sat. with the credit crunch taking hold my thought's were if i dont go now i wont be able to afford it in the next few month's. as im going on to a 4 day week. (no overtime no shift allowance no pay rise minus 20% wage's) inalll im going to be about 50% down on wage's so the island will be out the question in a few week's. anyway rant over thank you very much t***ta.

so the fishing go's met at h/head and drove over to the range's got there and there was a good swell on so we thought try ringbolt out the swell.

bit of a swell on at first and very quiet. after a bit the run started to slow and the bite's started first simon with a couple of pollock.

then deg's with the only doggie. (even got a smile out of him)

then we hit a barren spell and the thought's were let's move as we had only come here for conger we thought we would head back the breaky.

as simon pull's this monster in.

stayed for about another hour with no joy and as the wind was pretty no existant we thought the breaky would be the same.

packed up and left for the b/w. got there and what a wind . set up on the end fishing to the left all we had here was a few rockling poor cod and some more pollock.

it was that cold and windy i even got me floaty out. toward the end i tried to bring my big squid bait in and i had a big eel on it but after what semed age's getting it up it snapped off bringing it up the wall.

to sum it all up it wasn't a bad day out and again good banter and we all caught and had a good laugh. until next time cheer's lads.
