loch etive
Right where do i start. firstly i apologise for the quality of the pic's a new camera but not sure of the settings.
Had an invite to etive with col and co of the british sea anglers site. so set of from home early doors sat and reached the oyster inn at connel (very nice) mid day met with the lads and headed to bonwane quarry.after a 20 minute walk set up and waited. nowt at all until the sun started setting.
at first the odd dog and codling started to come out and some small thornies.
the mark.
mal with a dog and a codling.
then golden balls first with a spur.
then a steady stream of dogs poor cod and small spurs.
then it went slow until jv had a good knock and.
think it weighed 5lb 10.
then the other golden b****cks with a nice ling.
i thnk we all had spurs here all be it small.
called it a night at 02.00 got some scram back to the digs and bed.
next day sunday we headed for a mark near the isle of seil. bit of a mad mark but deep water again. straight away a few spurs came out.
along with a few dogs then it died a death so we all decided to head home.
great company and a great bunch of lad's looking forward to s/wales fingers crossed i can get time off.
