with me crab getting a bit old in the fridge and the wife moaning to get them away from the salad i decided i go for a walk with the dog and use a few in the river. so i headed for bagillt cob (behind the recycling plant).
after parking up you walk up onto the bank look to your right and you see this gate.
walk through the gate too the 3rd telegraph post. the walk to the water if you've got it right you should see two beer barrel's to your left. fish anywere to your right as far as 400 yard's close in and you will be out of the main run and hold bottom ok.
barrel's to your left.
the water was coloured but no algae bloom just plenty of sewage froth.
as im setting up the a380 barge past by.
anyhow the fishing. had 2 hook up/down rig with small carp hook's in case there were any flounder around which was the target but straight away the dreaded slimmy's two at a time. getting good bite's all through but missing them and the rig coming back all snotted up.
so after 2 hour's and about 8 eel's decided to save the fresh crab and give g/field dock a go over low friday morning.
only other highlight was an air show of strangly coloured plane's.
