Today at Lindway
it was too windy for fly fishing so me and clonk dusted off our coarse gear and our brollies and headed for lindway top pond
not a bad day despite the weather catch included 1 bream 10 skimmers
12 roach 3 rudd 3 crusians 8 chub and 4 tench between us we had both ponds to ourselves
it is a cyndicate water with two ponds at Lindway and two ponds at pennytown £25 a year £6 junior no waiting list
over 65 free after ist year
not wheelchair friendly but very short walk from car toilet on site

seems like you mastered the conditions well mate,
my respect goes out to anyone fishing in those conditions,
what are all those lines across the lake for ? is it to keep cormorants away ?

Yes mate cormorants and herons are a bloody nusance
it keeps the cormorants at bay but the herons are a bit
to cleaver to be fooled by a few ropes and ribbons
