Robinwood

Keith and I went to Robinwood Fishery on Tuesday. We arrived at about 8-30 as we had to go get bait. We decided to fish lake 4 on the field side. Keith went on peg 1 in the corner and I went on peg 2. Keith set a feeder up and was into a carp about 4lb before I had plumbed up. He had 3 carp in 3 casts then his 4 carp took him into a snag and he lost his feeder etc. I went on my pole as normal and using a size 20 hook and single red maggot I was catching a the Ide. The Ide are now in the 1lb -2lb bracket and I was catch all day. Keith moved pegs onto 3 and using his 16myr pole was catching loads of Ide and carp in the 2-4lb mark. It was a very hot day and I wish I had taken a can or 2 of Guinness with me . We fished till 7 -45pm and we had well over 30lb of fish each. We are going Blake Hall Cheadle nr Stoke on Trent on Sunday so a nice english breakfast before fishing.
