Fishathon 4 5hr at Dents, Hilgay

well arrived about 0800 to an overcast morning with talks of showers, did not take a pole with me just float & feeder rods,
I drew peg4 on the 2 island lake which gave me an island about 14m i tried method feeder to island with a variety of baits and fed margin under a tree to my right.
did not get any sign apart from the ducks near island and switched to margin after 1hr 15 mins tried several baits here but no sign of a bite.
Halfway through the match i changed tactics completely set up my 15ft rod with a 0.5gram polefloat balled in 3 balls of Blacksilver Black Magic groundbait in at end of rod straight in front of me.
fished worm on the hook and ended the match with 3 bream, 1 tench and a roach just under my PB which pushed scales to 1-14 1/2 to give me a total wieght of 13lb and 3rd place.
