Warf pond Pinxton

Had a short session at Warf pond Yesterday had a few including a nice Perch but should have hammer them
I must have missed twice as many bites as I hit and lost two big Carp don't know what I was doing wrong

I just couldn't do anything right I was using a loaded waggler for the first time I usually use the none loaded version
and shot my own could it be using a loaded I need to shot down the line differently ?I checked the hook and that looked fine infact I changed the hook and hook length several times or maybe the float I was no good for fishing at that depth the pond is only about 2ft 6" deep.Or maybe I am just crap at waggler fishing.Any suggestions would be welcomed unless its try another sport Twisted Evil
