the mersey
first of all long time no see how's everyone.
Had to get out after all the festivities so decided to head for the mersey. After collecting bait on friday evening we set off with fresh lug. fresh crab (shore and hermit) and muscle.
First port of call was cod corner met uo with mal and kev who had arrived a bit earlier and as were setting up kev gets his first of the day.
shortly followed by smaller one's from me and degs.
then big sleet and rain clouds appear.
then the heaven's opened sleet and rain none stop for a few hour's but it didnt put the fish off only small and 2 at a time.
after a good soaking and the current ebbing at an alarming rate we packed up and headed for wallasey docks for an hour to dry off and have a brew all we had here was one rockling to deg's.
really strange fishing on a roundabout and big tug's passing within feet of you.
In all we never blanked again good fun and good company.
