out and about
Me and degs had intended to go the island on saturday but were put of by the wind so we headed out sunday afternoon instead.
first port of call was cable bay got there it was windy but fishable started to fish it down to low. result was not a tap fed the crabs for 3 hours and fair do's they were ravanous.
fed up we went to the end of the breaky wasnt too bad the wind over our backs and a tad more sheltered. result here a doggy and whiting for degs nowt to me.
darkness set in and food was our next concern. to be honest my thought's were a burger then home but after an hour of degs repeating what you had then. that idea turned into i'll show you so we headed to a westerly facing beach.
got there and the wind was howling and the rain horizontal. and deg's repeating this is the devils work.
set up and after an hour a blank saver.
it fell to fresh blow lug on a pulley rig.
as the rain got harder we were about to call it a night when degs produces a wylfa special (must of been out for the night and on it's way back to wylfa).
after 2 hours we decided enough was enough and time for home. then i had a little knock and another on my last cast.
p***ed wet through we called it a night. and this morning all my gear cleaned and put away for a few months till the fishing picks up.
