Busy W/E
well my mates John & Keith managed to do a bit of fishing. I could not go because i allready had other arrangements.
It started Fri eve with me & Babs rushing back from Wisbech to attend our locals landlandladies 21st birthday. John & several members of his family were allready there along with Sammy.
there was quite a few other guests there & everyone had a few drinks & most had a go singing.
with it being a private party it was about 2-30 in morning when i finaly staggered in my front door.
then it was up the local at 1015 sat morning to help clear up & set up for a charity fun day. We got everything ready for 12 opening, we had stalls for bricabrac, book, dvd & cakes along with a tombola stall.
one of our dart team also agreed to have his chest waxed & people were paying £2 per strip to inflict this pain on him
A lot of you who know me will know that ive had a pony tail for quite a few years & as the day was for the local macmillans i said that if they could raise at least £25 between them the one who paid the most could have the pleasure of removing it, So about 430 in afternoon i was sat on a barstool in the middle of the pub & another of our dart players used the scissors & it was a to see it go.
Anyway we managed to raise £175 for a good cause. Well done & thanks to all the ones who supported it
