Post by allthegearnoidea on Thu May 29, 2008 8:10 pm

Had good intention of fishing weybourne but after calling for more bait at cley next sea was advised to try ######### pm me if you want exact details which started out fantastically first cast from chris a smoothie

followed by my effort a small flounder

followed almost imediatly by a larger flounder by chris

then came several more smoothies
about 6 in all

a few more flatties and then a lovely bass
great days fishing and great weather

should be a great night to come you would think but then down came the rain up came the wind and off into the night went my 2 man bivvie
knocking over the stove and pan containing bacon and kettle which emptied itself into the food box wetting everything including tea bags and bread trying in vain to catch my bivvie i snapped my ESP infinity carp rod
that i intended to do some spinning with. so wet through and quite a few quids worth of gear down decided the gods were against us and packed up and left for home still after all that had a great days fishing and met some new friends Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Shame about the wrecked tackle hope the good bits out weighed the bad.

Some great fish Smile
