uchymynydd/aberdesach n.wales

Post by joe roberts on Sun Apr 27, 2008 2:47 am

Me and deg's get a pass out and decided as the last few outing have been ****e thought we would head down the llyn. after a 2 hour drive we arrived at uchmynydd the get down's were wet and it was quiet a strong breeze so we walked over the back out the southerley winds for a quick recce. to be met by this.

after a little walk down and it was not slippy under foot (due to walking on the dead fern's) we thought we would give it a bash.
the decent was a bit hairy as deg's stop's to think what we doing here.

after about 15 minute's we get here.

10 minute's to get our breath back and the thought's were are we mad. at that the sea mist come's in and and soacked the walk down. so we sat it out for about 4 hour's and the result's were first fish to me.
it was either a small huss or doggie it was that small you couldnt tell as this mark is noted for huss to lay there egg's here.

straight away deg's was into pollock.

then me with a few all size's but plenty of them taking every bait thrown at them.

then the wrasse start first to deg's.

then me

then more pollock in two's and three's.

when the wind died it was time to go no huss just the wrasse and pollock but a few hour's well spent and a new venue found ready for summer. after a cautious walk back up. it was of to pwllheli for tea and then off to aberdesach to meet glynne and a few hour's.

at aberdesach we fished worm bait's at distance only to be rewarded with a couple of nice flounder.

then after dark the dog's start so homeward bound and at last a decent day's fishing.
