Re: Directions to the meet
We have been asked for more details of the venue and how to get there hope this helps if you google in (huttoft, alford, lincolnshire
NG13) it will take you to sea lane carry on up the lane untill you get to a staggered junction go straight on to the beach,we will be fishing to the right of the little hut.
with regards the venue you'll be fishing into clean sand which is very mobile therefor any features/holes can change from tide to tide, best to have a look at low water on the day.
good size whiting and flatties are the main stay, there's been a few cod starting to show but are a bit patchy at the min.
yellow tails, blow lug and frozen black are the usual baits and can be tipped with squid or mackerel, rag worm tipped with a small piece of mackerel will also work, 50yrd - 80yrd out will put you into fish however a bait at distance can also pay off.
the only tackle shop close by is is fishing 4 u at ingoldmells 01754874950
