anyone had any good pike

ive had a few 20s best 1 back in the 1970s just over 29lb from the North Level Main drain Nr Wisbech, Cambs.
but in my oppinion my best result piking was when i won my sect & come 13th overall out of over 500 anglers in the 2002 British Pike Championship Final, i drew on the 16ft drain & it fished very hard i managed 2 pike for 12-lb i think it was but it was enough to give me a good position

my personal best was 29lbs 7oz from a private trout lake on a full joey with oil injected over a blood and fish oil ground bait had loads from the hot water stretch
of the Shannon in Southern Ireland but only managed to land Jacks up to about 6lbs had one monster on a black jelly worm but it smashed my wire trace like it was cotton
after about 5 minutes

i have pike fished for 35 years,i have now managed 10 fish over the magic 20lb with a pb of 29lb 10oz on the kentish stour in the nineties,
still hunting for the holy grail, a 30 !!
