Pot Kiln, Measham

Post by martin. on Wed Sep 03, 2008 10:34 pm

Well ive got a match on here on Tuesday,
I have only fished it in matches before & out of the 10 matches ive fished ive only been out of top 2 once when i came 4th. the rest were about 50/50 1st & 2nd
I also broke our club match record of 112 lb on here 2 years ago with 164lb.
I shall probably start on a 4m. elasticated whip for 1/2 hour just to get about 8 - 10lb of silvers before carp move in then fish the pole up in the water taking about 2 gallons of hemp, wheat & casters all mixed together for loose feeding & about 6 - 8 pints of maggots also for loosefeeding & hookbait.

It's a great venue. Only Martin and I have weighed over 100lb .When Martin had his 166lb I had 133lb for second place. The top 2 places are normaly Martin or myself. I won the Lady Diana Trophy 4 years in a row but I gave someone else the chance to win it this year I didnt fish in the match.
