Re: Tools
Sorry for the late reply, I lost the link from my favorites.
Firstly the vice is spot on, I have one myself although it is basic it has a good strong hook hold in the jaws.
It looks like you have a fair few bits of materials there, plenty of thread and floss. The metallic chenilles I bet will fall apart in your hands, but this is common and best left alone imo. All the tools are there but I would recommend purchasing a ceramic tipped bobbin holder, can be aquired for around £5, a good investment though I got mine from E-Bay. There is a good selection of feathers there, any more pics of the feathers?
I would say you have got what you need to start you off.

Re: Tools
I have not used wood pigeon in tying yet!! but I was on the look out the other week for some pigeon breast feathers for some mayfly patterns I want to tie. Do you or your mate ever get partridge?? if you do I would take them of you all day long, full skins would be better but loose feathers would suffice. Pheasant tails I also use a lot of, so some of them would be good too. I dye a lot of my materials so if you ever need any dyed give me a shout. I would also be interested in deer fur from the course fibres to the fine.
