Post by strathy on Thu Jul 02, 2009 8:49 pm

Hi all John and I decided to go to Arnside to chase the flatties, very slow , john got 2 little uns and I missed 3 takes by striking to early, I,ll get the hang of braid soon I hope.
there were3 shoals mullet messing around but they weren,t hungry.
Looks like we,ll be taking a loaf of bread with us for the next few trips.
They,re earlier than I,ve seen them for 25 years.

Its about 15 mins drive from Morcambe.the north east corner of morcamb bay. Best to fish it between the viaduct and the lifeboat station.
theres also a lot of mullet around the outflows at Heysham power station.
