Not many anglers can lay claim to catching a 100lb carp but English lady Annabel Worthington can after banking a massive 132lb Giant Siamese carp, the world’s largest of the species ever caught by a female angler.



Fishing on 15th January in Bungsamran Lake in Bangkok, Thailand, Annabel warmed up for the huge fish by first catching a few 40lb Mekong cats before she had the only run of the day on the carp rods from a heavily baited marginal swim.

			<description><![CDATA[ive had a few 20s best 1 back in the 1970s just over 29lb from the North Level Main drain Nr Wisbech, Cambs.

			<description>On Friday we decided that we would pop down to our local club water and have a quick overnighter, so the big blue van was packed up and set off, on route we had to pop into the hospital for Julz's 6 monthly MOT all is OK on that account so we got to the lake at about 11am.

Got there at 08.45 and we fished lake 4 another website is suppling "FALSE" information on this venue won't say any names (YF) stating there are 200 double figured carp in this lake, i spoke to the bailiff today nice old fella told me theres actually more near 70 to 100 fish and also mentioned that is is an extreamly difficult water to fish.
