trent at barrow 26/11/08

Post by neil on Fri Nov 28, 2008 9:10 am

well left norfolk this morning at 5.30 am travelled 20 miles to pick my mate uo davey p then set off to the trent at barrow we arrived at barrow at 08.50 after getting caught in the morning traffic before we started fishing we had to do a bit of cleaning the 2 pegs removing the mud

the water was 3 feet up and the only pegs that were fishable were peg 10 and 12 were the water was not over the platforms i went to peg 10 while davey went to peg 12 i set the ledger rod up using a 4 oz led and hallibut pellet while dave used the same method i had 1 bite while davey had a fish on and lost it we think it was a chub

we had a visit from the 2 stoogies curly and mo

we ended up with no fish but the weather was kind 50 degrees today

well it was nice to get back on the trent even if the fish were not playing today

we packed in at 15.00hrs and headed back to norfolk
